Irmok Steinchencröe, they call me Irmok Steinchencröe, and they named me the Evil Puppeteer… for some reason, the voices!


2. Interesting... what's your current age?
HA, HA, HA, HA! Millions of years! Or am I seven? I lose count down here! Why won’t someone come and rescue me from my sins? It’s the least they could do for the voices, yes!


3. Uh huh. What's your favourite food?
Things were dark in my day, I have several clocks.

Who me? Are you still there?! Coconut Milk!

The King’s Daughter, one day I will abduct her, if the Goblin King doesn’t beat me to it!

Are you mad?! I am not a kiss! Where is your disguise? I can’t get away with all this polishing, they would have hidden me!


7. Classic question! What's your favourite colour?
Yes of course, what is our favourite colour? I like all the colours of multiword – in yellow psychosplatic expositions . Where are the moons! Everywhere! Of course, I like all my colours to glow in the dark, otherwise how can we see them?


8. Who's your favourite author?
I can’t remember any more, my former life seems a bit hazy now, everyone I knew is probably old or dead. You don’t want to know what’s up my sleeve! Is that more information than you needed, but who what have thought I was still alive? Now Irmok Steinchencröe is gone, the Evil Puppeteer is the greatest author, you will know this when you read his Magnus Opus – “My Sick Little Play”, it’s a very Evil Work.


9. Now what's your biggest fear?
One day, they will come and take my puppets, and I will have lost my only friends, NOOO! They want to shut down my performance, they’re coming for me, always coming, I was only trying to help! What is life without a show, I am the greatest showman, they know that, they fear that, they are the ones who are afraid, you HEAR ME!?


10. *stifles a giggle* I'm not laughing *bursts out laughing* Sorry. Any siblings?
How dare you cross me, I invited you in to play, and now you have laughed upon me! Siblings? Wait, let me check, aha, here they are, wait something is wrong, I don’t like this question, I didn’t invite you in after all!


11. Almost, it's only twenty questions. Who's your hero?
The unbearable glow of life and death!


12. Ok, who is your worst enemy?
Sometimes it gets cold down here, and I wonder if this place doesn’t like me very much, but then it’s balmy again. And that time I lost a fungus pie eating contest to a goblin, it was humiliating.


13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
Taksis wouldn’t stand a chance against His Majesty, they have totally different tastes!


14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?
I created the Universe, the rest of you are my puppets! Sometimes I forget that, and think I’m a puppet too, that’s when it starts to get confusing.

A Puppeteer who lives on a riverboat, but then gets lost at sea when he can’t find his paintbrush, then he finds the paintbrush and returns to a standing ovation!


16. What's your worst nightmare?
Metallic concepts pinging off my back, the sort that echo! I always take precautions against this. I should never have pushed those children into the volcano, I admit that is was wrong now, but it’s not my fault, I was just following the script! These are some of the reasons they brand me as Evil for, they don’t understand that the show must go on!


17. What's your lifelong dream?
To be able to dream forever, and sleep peacefully at night. And to write a play that never ends, my raison d'être!


18. What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?
Repopulate the world with vibrant dancing tentacles, stream-lined flying goats, bouncing ancestors, stars that sing with gnomes on their breath, bubbling pots of gold that can race me around the world, screwdriver throwing octopi-chickens with sun hats made of brick and mortar, romantic toy soldier who don’t start wars on Ginkgo leaves, bounty hunters with faces that explode when they try to remove question marks from ale barrels, and nautical sock puppets that never forget their lines. I think you’ve forgotten your line.


19. Ok, where's your favourite place to relax?
The Upper World, before the Dark Times. One day I will return and everyone will love me, like they used to, everyone cries for me, they fill the oceans with their tears, dreaming of my dreams, reliving my plays.

20. Last question! What do you spend most of your time doing?
Dancing on my spectacles while attempting to destroy the external world!!! Whilst I’m not working on my master plan, I watch stories unfold in the dark, but I pull the strings! People don’t realise this – but all my puppets are alive.
